Once again
our Honeysuckle Moon ride to Reelfoot was a rousing
success. We had 27 souls on seventeen motorcycles plus
two more in a Buick giving us a grand total of 29
people..

| I really didn't think many folks would show up but as so often happens, MTR manages to fool me. When Hildia and I arrived at the jumpin' off point there were several bikes already there with more folks coming in regularly.

Heat advisories with indices as high as 107 were predicted and it took some very dedicated motorcyclist's to leave their comfortable air conditioned homes and venture out on such a day. But such is the character of the Memphis Tour Riders who willingly brave heat, cold, rain sleet and storms just to take to the road for a bit of adventure.

Dawg Cemetery Ride
When Hildia and I
walked outside at 9:25 Saturday morning I thought,
nobody in their right mind will show up for a motorcycle
ride on a day when 107 heat indices are predicted. And I
was right,
nobody in their right mind would but
thirteen members of the Memphis Tour Riders did.
