Official Journal of the Memphis Tour Riders

The season is upon us. The time of the year when we
reflect upon our efforts and accomplishments, we set
our goals for next year and look forward to what the
New Year will bring us. For some of us it will be a
great vacation, new toys, perhaps a new job, a new
companion, maybe even a new friend. The New Year
brings about new expectations of happiness and growth
for our families and ourselves.

One thing that all members of the Memphis Tour
Riders will do is set our sights for new roads and some
old familiar roads as we travel in 2007. As a group we
have traveled many miles all over the world. We have
been to exotic places, remote areas and busy
metropolitan areas. We have managed to do so without
major injury to self or motorcycle. May we all do the
same throughout 2007.

Take the time during the next few months to prepare
yourself and your favorite ride(s) for the challenges and
excitement that the New Year will bring. Set your
sights on a new horizon and ensure your success in
reaching that goal.

We discussed Dick suggested Club song; Frankie Laine’s “Blazing Saddles” and he has composed 3 verses to go with the music. The verses were in the November newsletter, all we reed now is somebody to sing them. It was the consensus of the members attending the music and verses would be an appropriate for our theme song.
