Things

We all have our things, (some call it stuff). I like my things, my motorcycle things, my collection of completely useless things (at least according to my other half) and of course my family things. I want to keep my things. I want to enjoy my things. I am learning how to better protect my things everyday from all of the folks who also want my things, however they plan to get my things. With all of the recent news in our area of
the planet it is becoming more and more apparent I have to work harder to keep my things. This whole subject was brought to my attention when I was at my favorite toy store today. There was a man there selling security systems to help me keep my things especially my motorcycle things. I wasn’t sold on his idea but it got me thinking I have to do something to protect my things. I guess I will go to my thinking lodge and dream up new ways to keep my things. In the meantime

Rick Totty reviewed the options outlined in Happy Trails and by email. We discussed the ongoing efforts to find a replacement engine for the Russian girl, Elena’s motorcycle, enabling her to continue her writing career. She rides a Kawasaki Ninja ZZR-1100 (ZX-11) http://www.angelfire.com/extreme4/kiddofspeed/ this is her interesting historical web site, worthy of reading. The consensus of our discussion was for Rick to do more checking with the thought that we and others can make something happen, enabling Elena to get back riding again. Rickwill pursue answers to several questions including; is her need legitimate, cost of import/export duties on engine/parts, if we were to ship and rebuild the engine In Memphis, Is It radiation free? Inquire to just what parts are actually needed to get her engine up and running, If we go that route. Find out what she capable of doing herself as will as Investigating the cost of a new engine. Rick will report his findings at the next meeting for further discussion. Rick will need additional monetary help no matter what course is considered. Please remember any participation Is entirely voluntary.
Thanks to all for the numerous door prizes, we appreciate your sharing.
