From the Irish Santa Claus...
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
As I finish our December Newsletter a great December 1, 2007 awaited me. The weather was great, got to ride the bike for a couple of hours today and started putting up the outdoor display. This sure beats the snow and cold up north. Enjoy the spirit of the holidays and do something good for others this season. It will help us all as we face 2008 and the elections and the ongoing conflicts in the Middle east.

Our meeting bank balance was $650.00

The detailed info on the Member's web page has now been updated. Eddie worked out a way to make our members page printer friendly, you can now print both the members addresses and birthday/anniversary lists on only 3 pages by clicking on the print button and have your own personal hard copy.

We still have a few MTR antenna flags available for $15.00 each. Billy has MTR decals and selling them at his cost of  $1.50 each.

We also appreciate and thank our Advertiser/Sponsors for continuing their ads this year we really value your support. We only have one that is due to renew at this time

Hubert is home from the hospital. Please remember our ailing members in your thoughts and prayers. Prayers are invaluable.

We have concluded our scheduled rides for 2007. we appreciate and thank BJ Max for his dedication and hard work in coming up with great rides every year. We are now looking forward to 2008. Can we start with a Polar Bear ride January 1st?

At our November meeting, we discussed and planned details for our MTR Christmas party at the TBCH Boy's Ranch in Millington and the gifts to purchase for the boys. This is the plan; Date: December 8th, Time: 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. We are having a pizza party this year. MTR will give the boys (2) portable basketball goals as well as a smoked pork butt for each house. Our members will need to bring door prizes for the boys; there are 17 this year, deserts and drinks, we will have approximately 50 folks in total attendance. Additional party details are in the November Happy Trails

Dan is working on the toy bears distribution list. He requests names of charities, churches and children's homes that need toys. St. Jude and others can no longer accept stuffed toys due to the health risk involved. Please let Dan know Venture69@comcast.com.

November was our final meeting for 2007; remember our Boy's Ranch Christmas Party December 8th will be in lieu of the December meeting. Our next regular meeting will be January 10, 2008 at Fox Ridge Pizza, same schedule, Eat at 6:00 pm, Meet at 7:00 pm, gone by 8:00 pm.

Thanks to all that brought door prizes throughout the year, win one bring one.

On behalf of MTR, I want to wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR as we look forward to 2008.

Riding safely is as simple as ABC...Always Be Careful!
